THEY ARE ONLY REFLECTIONS AND NOT IMPERFECTIONS. THE MUD FLAP GUARDS ARE BLACK RUBBER THE BOTTOM PLATES ARE CHROME PLATED STEEL METAL. THIS IS A SET OF 2, BRAND NEW, HEAVY BLACK, FLEXIBLE RUBBER MUD SPLASH GUARDS AND 2 CHROME METAL BOTTOM PLATES. THE MUD GUARDS ARE APPROXIMATELY 1/8 INCHES THICK AND ARE HEAVY DUTY. THESE MUD FLAPS WILL FIT ON REGULAR PICK UP TRUCKS ONLY. THAT WOULD INCLUDE A FORD, DODGE, CHEVROLET AND ANY OTHER REGULAR TRUCK. THE SIZE IS 12 INCHES BY 18 INCHES. THERE ARE 2 HOLES AT THE TOP OF THE SPLASH MUD GUARDS FOR INSTALLATION. YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE SOME ANGLE IRON, NUTS AND BOLTS, (FROM A HARDWARE STORE) TO INSTALL THESE MUD FLAPS. THAT IS HOW AUTOMOTIVE SHOPS INSTALL THEM. THESE MUD FLAPS ARE TOO SMALL FOR DUALLY TRUCKS. IF YOU HAVE A DUALLY, LOOK IN MY OTHER LISTINGS FOR DUALLY MUD FLAPS. THE FLAPS WILL FIT A CHEVROLET CHEVY GMC AND DODGE FULL SIZE PICK UP TRUCK 1500 2500 AND 3500 SINGLE WHEELS AND A FORD F150 F250 F350 SINGLE WHEEL. .ALSO INCLUDED IN THIS LISTING ARE CHROME BOTTOM PLATES. THE BOTTOM PLATES PROVIDE WEIGHT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE MUD FLAPS AND ARE NICE IN APPEARANCE. These mud flaps will fit either side of the vehicle. The tapered ends of the chrome weight are the top side and mount best to a flat surface. The width of the bottom plates is 12 inches and the height is about 3 inches (the top center of the weight). The weights taper on both ends to about 2 inches on each side. The mounting hardware is welded to be back side of each weight with three all thread studs strategically located to provide secure attachment. These studs are located on the backside of the weight. These studs are 5 inches apart. The center mount is located about 1 ½ inches from the bottom of the weight. The end studs are located 1 inch from each side. These all thread studs are 1 ¼ inches in length and come with a rubber cap to protect the threads. YOU WILL HAVE TO DRILL INTO THE MUD FLAP TO INSTALL THE BOTTOM PLATES. REMOVE THE RUBBER CAPS AND PUT THE BOTTOM PLATES AT THE BOTTOM OF THE MUD GUARDS, PUSH DOWN ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE BOTTOM PLATE TO MAKE AN INDENTION OF THE 3 STUDS ON THE MUD FLAPS. THE POSITION OF THE STUDS ON THE MUD GUARDS WILL BE PERFECT. DRILL THE HOLES WHERE THE INDENTION'S ARE LOCATED ON THE MUD GUARD. ONCE DRILLED, PUSH THE STUDS THROUGH THE HOLES, AND THEN INSTALL THE WASHER, NUT AND BLACK CAP. THIS COMBO SET IS AWESOME LOOKS AND DURABILITY.
